Here to talk about Red Sox #1 prospect Clay Buchholz. Clay was drafted with the 42nd pick in the 2006 MLB First Year Player Draft. Since then he's skyrocketed up the prospect ranks in Boston and in major league baseball. Armed with a Mid-90's fastball, a plus curve ball (plus-plus according to GM Theo Epstein), a plus change-up, and a good slider, Buchholz has the makeup to be a potential major-league ace.
